Detail

The JN166-1 ABS was successfully developed and launched on the market in March 2010. Mainly used for military vehicles.
The fault alarm of JN166-1 ABS also adopts "automatic flashing code". Turn on the ignition switch, whether the vehicle is in a stopped or moving state, as long as there is a current fault, the ABS warning light will automatically display a "flashing code", which greatly facilitates the reading of fault codes.
In addition, when the vehicle exceeds 15Km/h, the "flashing code" repeats for 3 cycles and the warning light turns on, stopping the "flashing code" and returning to "flashing code" after parking.
When the ignition switch is turned on in the parking state, there is no "flashing code". The "flashing code 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36" that only appears when the vehicle is driving over 15Km/h is a signal fault caused by large sensor gaps or fluctuations. This fault needs to be handled by the sensor and gear ring after parking. Turning on the ignition again will still cause a "flashing code", and the warning light will turn off when the vehicle is driven for more than 15km/h to determine whether the repair is effective.
The JN166-1 ABS is designed according to the concept of "retaining ABS function as much as possible in case of malfunction". When a certain solenoid valve in the vehicle malfunctions, only the wheels controlled by that solenoid valve are not under ABS control, while other faultless wheels are still under ABS control. If a certain wheel speed sensor of the vehicle malfunctions, it will cause the wheel to be indirectly controlled according to the coaxial or on the same side wheel speed signal. This fault handling method is known as the "indirect control method of faulty wheels", which is a significant improvement over the early methods of losing ABS control in the event of any fault, reducing the risk of losing control of direction and side slip when the vehicle urgently brakes after a fault occurs.
