JN144-4 ABS was successfully developed and launched on the market in January 2016. It has added functions such as CAN communication and hill start assist (HAS).
The JN144-4 ABS is designed according to the concept of "retaining ABS function as much as possible in case of malfunction". When a sensor or solenoid valve in the vehicle malfunctions, only the wheels corresponding to that sensor or solenoid valve are not under ABS control, while other faultless wheels still have ABS control. Only when the sensors or solenoid valves of both rear wheels are faulty or the power supply is faulty, can all wheels not enter ABS control. This fault handling method is called the "faulty wheel lock up method", which is an improvement over the early "any fault full lock up method" that loses ABS control in the event of any fault. It reduces the risk of side slip and tail spin when the vehicle urgently brakes after a fault occurs.
JN144-4 ABS is the fourth generation pneumatic ABS product of Juneng Company, which has K-line diagnostic function in accordance with ISO 14230 and SAE J1939 CAN diagnostic function.
After connecting to ABS using a K-line diagnostic instrument or CAN diagnostic instrument, ECU information such as model, software version number, production date, batch number, and number can be easily read out. In addition, it can also read the current faults and past stored faults of the ECU.
After using offline detection equipment to connect to ABS through the K or CAN line, it can also detect whether the ABS harness connection and brake pipeline connection of the entire vehicle are correct, whether the signal of the wheel speed sensor is normal, whether the ABS warning light function is normal, and whether the pressure regulator function is normal.
The JN144-4 ABS can be diagnosed with a K-wire or CAN diagnostic instrument when a malfunction occurs. In the absence of a K-line or CAN diagnostic device, a rough diagnosis can also be made through the "flashing code" of the ABS warning light.
The fault alarm of JN144-4 ABS adopts "automatic flashing code". Turn on the ignition switch, whether the vehicle is in a stopped or moving state, as long as there is a current fault, the ABS warning light will automatically display a "flashing code", which greatly facilitates the reading of fault codes.
In addition, when the vehicle exceeds 15Km/h, the "flashing code" will repeat for 3 cycles and the warning light will turn on for a long time. The flashing code will be stopped to not interfere with the driver, and will be restored after parking to remind the driver that the vehicle has faults and needs to be repaired in a timely manner.
